Below I have added a link to a website that contains lots of cool information regarding the history of numbers in many different countries and among several different religions. It shows many different symbols and even pictures of faces that have been used in the past when referring to numbers. Be sure to click onto 'Page 2' and the 'More' tabs on the top of the first page when you have finished looking at it. The 'More' page has lots of interesting facts about numbers.
